I live by the rules of “do no harm” and “stay at a safe distance when observing wildlife.” Venturing into the Maine Woods can be very risky, and I always keep a safe distance between myself and these beautiful creatures. Please remember: when viewing wildlife, this is their home not ours; we are only guests. Your presence should not change their behavior or way of life.
